Problems

This section lists some of the common problems that you might encounter.
You should also consult your SCSI host adapter manual.
Symptom: random errors.
Check cabling and termination.
Symptom: device is found at all IDs.
Make sure that the devices do not have the same SCSI Id as the
host adapter.
Symptom: device shows up at all possible LUNs.
The device has bad firmware. Obtain a copy of 'scsi_util' utility
from the update system. Send the output from 'scsi_util device inquiry'
to QSSL. QSSL will then add this device to the drivers blacklist so it
will not scan the LUNs on startup.
Symptom: network contoller drops packets when SCSI devices are accessed.
The network controller is dropping packets because it can't get on the
bus. Try changing the bus on off times.
Symptom: random error with PCI adapter.
Make sure that you have an up to date version of the the adapter
BIOS as well as system BIOS.
