It will install the files, update the registry. 4. Installing Soft synthesizer S-YXG50 Help Fille,MIDIfile Player and Driver data Installation 4.1.Insert the disk into the computer's disk drive. 4.2. Double-click on the "Setup.exe" file . 4.3. All files will be copied to YMAHA\SXG50 folder(Default setting) MIDI MIDI files Driver S-YXG50 Driver file The SXG Driver Installation 4.5. S-YXG50 requires Hardware CODEC & driver. Before installing the SXG driver, check your system. 4.6. Double click the Multimedia icon in the control panel and click on the Devices tab. 4.7. Press the ADD button. Select Unlisted or Updated Drivers and press OK. 4.8. A dialog box will appear and request the path of the location of the driver files. You may search this path by clicking the BROWSE button. ( Default folder is \Program files\YAMAHA\SXG50\Driver) 4.9. Another dialog box will appear with the SXG50 Driver label. Press OK to continue with the installation. 4.10. Windows NT may ask you to restart your system. Even though it is not necessary to do so, we recommend that you click on the Restart Now button. 5. Uninstalling Soft synthesizer S-YXG50 ********* Remarks!!! ********************************************** Please run the uninstall program to remove the folder completely. Do not remove the S-YXG50 folder. ******************************************************************** Use the following procedure if you wish to delete the S-YXG50 from your hard disk. Help Fille,MIDIfile Player and Driver data Uninstallation 5.1. Click the [Start] button, and go to [Programs (P)] >> [Yamaha SoftSynthesizer S-YXG50] and select [uninstall S-YXG50]. 5.2. After the program starts, follow the directions given on-screen. The SXG Driver Uninstallation 5.3. Double click the Multimedia icon in the control panel and click on the Devices tab. Double click on the Audio Devices entry and then 5.4. Select MIDI for S-YXG50 Driver. Press the REMOVE button. Verify your decision by pressing the YES button of the REMOVE dialog box. 5.5. The System Setting Change dialog box will appear and ask you to restart Windows NT. Press the Restart Now button. 6.
