README TEXT  for  SoftSynthesizer(TM) S-YXG50

This file contains the latest information, corrections and addendum's for
your version of the program.
Read the following instruction before proceeding.

1. Specifications

   	Tone Generation         : Wave Table
   	Number of Voices        : 676 Voices + 30 Drum/SFX Kits
                              (XG mode : 480 Voices + 20 Drum/SFX Kits)
   	Multi-timbral Parts     : 16
   	Effect Processor        : 11 Chorus + 11 Reverb + 43 Variation Effect
   	Sampling Rate           : 44 / 22 / 11 kHz
   	Digital Dynamic Filter is included


2. Hardware Requirement

   	CPU : MMX(TM) Technology Pentium(R) Processor 166MHz or higher
   	RAM : 32MB or over
   	Sound Function : 16bit Stereo Sound CODEC


3. License Agreement
Each language of license agreement is placed in LICENSE folder. Please read it before installing.


4. Installing SoftSynthesizer(TM) S-YXG50

4.1. Double-click on the "Setup.exe" file in the S-YXG50 folder.
4.2. Following the on screen instructions starts the installation process automatically.


5. Uninstalling SoftSynthesizer(TM) S-YXG50

*********  Remarks!!! **********************************************
 Please run the uninstall program to remove the folder completely.
 Do not remove the SYXG50 folder.

Use the following procedure if you wish to delete the S-YXG50 from your hard disk.

5.1. Click the [Start] button, and go to [Programs (P)] >> [Yamaha SoftSynthesizer S-YXG50]
   and select [uninstall S-YXG50].
5.2. After the program starts, follow the directions given on-screen.
